The Punk Set

Punk burlesque clashes with life drawing.

This month the Christchurch Sketchy Girls are gonna put the PUNK back into SPUNK. It’s a night of studs, spikes, fishnets and revolutionary attitudes. This one’s gonna be loud and rocking!

Ruby Ruin (of The Living Dolls) and Princess Profanity will lead you astray on a night of punk and disorderly behaviour.

MC Hells Belle will be amongst the filth and the fury, chanting "Hey Ho! Let's Go!"

Turn up in your spikiest punk attire with your sharpest pencils to draw these foul-mouthed sketchy grrrls.

Our sponsors rock: Absolution Tattoo & Body Piercing (to ensure you're punk for life); Madam Butterfly’s Vintage Style Boutique (rocking outfits); and The Flying Burrito Brothers (punks need to eat!).

Doors open 6.30pm. Our first pose is at 7.30pm. Get in early for the best spot for sketching.

We would like to advise there is no photography at this event. Document all our rock stars with drawing only.

Thursday 26 August, 2010 at Goodbye Blue Monday.
Tickets $10 plus booking fee.
Pre-sales (available soon) from Cosmic Corner High Street or online via Cosmic Ticketing.
